Nell Trent and her grandfather flee their London shop after losing everything to the villainous loan-shark Quilp. Roaming the countryside, the pair fall in with a succession of colourful characters, some friendly, some ominous. After their acclaimed touring production of The Count of Monte Cristo in 2015, Common Ground return with this riotous, theatrically inventive adaptation, featuring original live music by Pat Whymark.
